Through your membership, CCHA is able to provide an array of services that the Municipality of Puerto Vallarta does not provide to our colonia.  We have a structure that maintains a clean, safe, tranquil and cohesive atmosphere.

BECOME A MEMBER

As a Conchas Chinas property owner, I’m requesting to become a member of the Asociacion de Colonos de Las Conchas Chinas, A.C. (Conchas Chinas Homeowners’ Association-CCHA), in order to ensure and improve the residential quality in our community of Conchas Chinas in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. As a member of the Association (Associate), I agree to pay annual dues and participate in the Annual Assembly at which I may vote on agenda items.

The CCHA is a civil association, established on the 30th of January 1990, passed by the public notary NO. Three, in the city of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco.

The “Association de Colonos de las Conchas Chinas” complies with the government law and the municipal public administration of the state of Jalisco. “The participation of the citizen and neighbor organization” in its unique chapter. The Conchas Chinas neighborhood Association has fulfilled the requirements established in the above-mentioned law, and regulation, therefore acquires its own juridical authority with the purpose of representing the residents of Conchas Chinas neighborhood, in relation to urban development, environmental improvement and public services.

Q2.- How are the membership fees used?

In order to keep our lovely neighborhood effective, we must have financial donation. The maintenance fee in Conchas Chinas is charged annually to every and each one for the owners in the aforementioned zone. These fees include the right to receive on behalf of “The Association” the following services:

  1. Road and public thoroughfare cleaning.
  2. Gardening maintenance of the ridge, sidewalks and in general, public areas of Conchas Chinas.
  3. Providing and maintaining street signs.
  4. Maintenance of road paving blocks, pebbles, etc.
  5. Removing major debris during rainy season.
  6. Repair and maintenance of the street lights.
  7. Coordination with the Junta Vecinal, our liaison with the city Of Puerto Vallarta.
  8. Advocating for responsible development, reasonable, manageable growth in our community.
  9. Providing garbage receptacles.

Q4.-Who has responsibility of CCHA and services?

The Conchas Chinas Homeowners’ Association is managed by a volunteer board, a paid administrator, and two paid maintenance staff. An annual meeting is held during the first quarter of each year. At the annual meeting you, the paid members of the CCHA, can vote on the officers of the CCHA board and discuss priorities for the current year. As residents of Conchas Chinas, we all share the responsibility of maintaining our Colonia. We do this by remaining current on our annual dues. By doing so, it ensures that we maintain the beauty of the most prestigious neighborhood in Vallarta, and it helps our individual property continue to increase.
